Committees
Overview
The Executive Committee is WRCOG’s decision-making policy board. The Executive Committee is comprised of elected officials from each of WRCOG’s member agencies, and meets monthly to discuss policy issues and consider recommendations from WRCOG’s Technical Advisory Committee. The Riverside County Superintendent of Schools is an ex-officio member.
Overview
WRCOG is governed by a General Assembly comprised of elected representatives from each of WRCOG’s voting member agencies. The General Assembly meets annually to elect new leadership, adopt the agency budget, and conduct other business as necessary.

The Administration & Finance Committee provides budget and finance overview for WRCOG in the conduct of its business. The Committee is comprised of various Executive Committee members.

Overview
The Finance Directors Committee (FDC) is comprised of the finance directors of WRCOG’s member agencies. The FDC discusses and provides comments on WRCOG’s budget and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), and other pertinent financial discussions as they relate to WRCOG’s finances. The FDC also shares and discusses issues that are affecting them and offer valuable feedback to assist neighboring jurisdictions.

Overview
The Planning Directors Committee (PDC) advises the Technical Advisory Committee and Executive Committee on issues related to planning that come before WRCOG. The PDC is comprised of planning directors and community development directors and meets monthly.

Overview
The Public Works Committee (PWC) is the technical advisory body to the Technical Advisory Committee and Executive Committee for the TUMF Program and all public works-related issues that come before WRCOG. The PWC is comprised of Public Works directors and city / county engineers from WRCOG’s member agencies and meets monthly.

Overview
The Solid Waste Committee (SWC) is comprised of staff from each of WRCOG’s member agencies and meets quarterly. The SWC discusses solid waste and recycling issues and makes recommendations to the Technical Advisory Committee on matters relating to Western Riverside County.

Overview
The WRCOG Supporting Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation which provides support to WRCOG for the purposes of facilitating the performance of its functions and to receive, invest, and utilize funds and property acquired for the benefit of WRCOG.

Overview
The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) reviews information and provides recommendations to the Executive Committee for consideration. The TAC is comprised of executive managers from each of WRCOG’s member agencies and the March Joint Powers Authority, and meets monthly (Dark in June and December).

Overview
The Zone Committee consists of one Elected Official from each jurisdiction in the Zone, and reviews the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for recommendation to the WRCOG Executive Committee.

Overview
Zone Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) consists of the City Manager, the County Executive Officer, and the Public Works Directors from each jurisdiction in the Zone. This Committee reviews TUMF funding requests for programming on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The Zone TAC forwards the Zone TIP to the Zone Committee for review.
