The Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG) Executive Committee has unanimously appointed Chris Gray as Interim Executive Director to lead the organization. As the Executive Committee looks ahead to its next chapter of leadership, Gray will serve as WRCOG’s Executive Director, overseeing daily operations and advancing key regional priorities.
Gray joined WRCOG in 2016 as Director of Transportation & Planning and was promoted to Deputy Executive Director in March 2021. He also previously served as WRCOG’s Interim Executive Director in 2021. With more than 30 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering, Gray has led projects at the local, regional, national, and international levels. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree from Florida State University, and has been a resident of Riverside County for over 20 years.
